Curriculum
One path, taught in order.
Every Arabic program at Afsah follows the same curriculum, Lisān al-Qur’ān, from the first letters to reading the Qur’ān in its own language. Students are placed at the stage that fits them and move up as they are ready.
Our text
Lisān al-Qur’ān
Lisān al-Qur’ān is the Arabic curriculum developed at Jamia Ayesha Siddiqua in Karachi, Pakistan, where Ustadha Rumsha Karim completed her studies. It teaches Arabic as the language of the Qur’ān: vocabulary and grammar are learned so that students can read and understand revelation.
Why one curriculum
Teaching every class from the same text means each stage builds directly on the last. A student who finishes Elementary is ready for Intermediate, whichever cohort or teacher they studied with, and private tutoring can pick up exactly where a class left off.
Admissions tells enrolled students which materials they need before the first class.
